HOLLY 6

Clean and very nice unit at famous Chetola resort. The location of the building is great-not too far from main building and facing the tennis and pickleball court. The unit has a washer/dryer and fully stocked kitchen. We also loved the fireplace in the unit that added to the cozy vibe. The bed and pillows are comfortable and extra points go towards having a thicker and cozier blanket on the bed because many hotels and rentals usually offer pretty thin options. The property itself is well maintained and very peaceful. The lake is absolutely beautiful and had several swan families swimming around.

Our second visit to HOLLY 6 did not disappoint us. Exactly six months ago today, we were delighted to step through the door once again to enjoy this perfect mountain getaway. A cozy, hospitable, and charming environment; comfortably furnished and lovingly decorated both indoors and out – a great way to relax and enjoy spectacular views. Easy access to hiking trails, the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway, and the charming downtown area of Blowing Rock. We spent several days in the beautifully located and furnished condo (Holly6). We highly recommend it, not only for relaxation but also for outdoor activities like hiking in the Blue Ridge Mountains or playing tennis. Downtown Blowing Rock, with its lovely shops, is just a short walk away. It's worth a stroll through the city. Many thanks. See you next time. Wir verbrachten mehrere Tage in dem wunderschoen gelegenen und eingerichteten Condo (Holly6). Wir koennen es sehr empfehlen nicht nur zum Erholen sondern auch zur sportlichen Betaetigung wie Wandern in den Blue Ridge Mountains oder Tennisspielen. Der Stadtkern von Blowing Rock mit den schoenen Geschaeften ist nur eine kurzer Spaziergang entfernt. Er ist ein Stadtbummel wert. Herzlichen Dank. Aufs naechste mal. The condo was comfortable and well furnished. The kitchen had everything we needed to make meals at home. The bed was very comfortable. I will definitely return to this unit in the future!

Have been coming to Blowing Rock and vicinity for many years, but this experience was a first, enjoying our visit in a cozy, tastefully decorated, comfortably furnished, thus very hospitable environment, offering the perfect mountain escape: From the comfortable King size bed (perfect for “sleeping in”); to lazing on the sofas, either snuggled up with a good book, watching the HUGE screen TV, or simply being mesmerized by the gas flames, heat emanating forth from a beautiful stone fireplace (that lights at the touch of a button); to enjoying the view of Flat Top Mountain from the rear balcony, while sipping a glass of wine or bubbly, or enjoying a cup of tea. And kudos to a very well-stocked kitchen, the crowning glory – a tea kettle that whistles! Whether rain or shine, a wonderful place to stay, with gorgeous balcony views, easy access to hiking trails, (Bass Lake is just a short hike away.), and dining at Timberlakes. A great way to experience Blowing Rock, perfectly situated, very close, but far enough away from the hubbub of the charming downtown area and the scenic Blue Ridge Parkway. Definitely plan to return to further explore the many amenities that this beautiful place within the Chetola Resort has to offer.
